Jodi L. Lyons (President and CEO)
With over fifteen years of experience in the nonprofit healthcare arena, Jodi has been a leader in a wide variety of national and international organizations representing healthcare and long-term care service providers, the providers themselves, healthcare-related government agencies and industry leaders who supply these organizations.
Jodi also has been a Washington, DC based lobbyist and worked with the National Institutes of Health, The Centers for Disease Control, The Secretary of Health and Human Services, major professional medical societies, and various members and committees of Congress to develop policy on health care issues and public health education programs. She also has been a member of the Leadership Council of Aging Organizations, the only national coalition of government agencies and non-profit organizations solely concerned with the well-being of America's older population and committed to representing their interests in the policy-making arena.
Most recently, Jodi was President/CEO of the Association of Jewish Aging Services, an international organization that represents Jewish sponsored, long-term care organizations in the United States and Canada. Long-term care facilities represented by this association house over 40,000 senior citizens and provide service to an additional 180,000 people.
Jodi is a graduate of Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts and a former President of the Washington DC area Brandeis University alumni association.
